What’s up readers? I’m back after a long delay and I’m here to stay. Let’s get this thing back started with a potential kickstarter campaign.
Imagine having access to all information about every brand on the planet in your pocket. I’m talking the great news like giving back to the environment that Patagonia is doing, or the children investment projects of Newman’s own, or even the one that built it’s brand off a buy one give one shoe model like Tom’s.
Wouldn’t you love to know where your hard earned money goes? And how they spend it, when they get it from us?
How much does the CEO earn? vs. What do they pay ground level employees? Would you be more meticulous in your spending if you knew important pieces of information of the brand, that you support or even oppose?
What about setting the things you care about and suggest companies you should be purchasing from in your feed??
Listen, I super understand the convenience of the space racer Jeff Bezos platform, Amazon, and the prime delivery that gets your wants to your house in a day or two. The pay with the palm is amazing at Whole Foods, and eventually we will be able to walk into Whole Foods and walk out without having to put your produce on the register belt.
Now imagine being worth over $300 billion, and over the course of your lifetime you’ve only given back $2.3 billion in total – but your ex wife is already at $27 billion philanthropic donations in a couple of year. Let’s save a panic attack and an opportunity for Musk to point fingers in other directions…because mars is so important.
I’m simply using my free speech to propose an idea to help our culture because I’m more of a customer advocate than Ralph Nader. I want spenders to be wiser. I want there to be more information about brands – the good, the bad, and the ugly. Similar to Yuka for choosing healthy products, or GlassDoor for choosing employment. You get the entire picture of the brand before you decide to buy the product you’re holding and to feel ultimately satisfied with your purchase decision.

I’m meeting you at number 2 with this app, at the customer information search to find the best product for you. This app has to be free to use for all – no paid subscriptions. The amount of user data that will be tied in to this machine will be worth billions, but all information will be completely secured, and this app could be potentially lucrative, not so much in the beginning but once it has gained a following.
Now let’s close the door, and talk about what I really want it to be used to do. Imagine one of the companies founders is a pedophile, would you still want to eat or a buy a coffee at that restaurant? What if they were convicted of murder? Would you still want to buy an outfit to support this owners habits? All of that information would be in the webcast of media on the companies profile, helping you make the best decision for you.
Let’s talk about only supporting companies that are doing good things for our community, and erasing the ones who are a cancer to society. Where good always prevails over evil, even in business.
Let me know how we feel, and I’ll come up with a name, the funding, and the way to make this app available to everyone’s phone.
